CEO Rayne Writes started We Mean Clean after arriving to Riverside in 2015 “in transition.” With no home, no income, no family, and a borrowed car, her vision to create a green commercial cleaning company that focused on building the community fueled her passion to continue on. She desperately sought out every community resource but found that for a 34 year old single woman, there were no housing or employment resources available.
She worked odd jobs for survival until May of 2016 when she walked into her normal graveyard cleaning shift and fired her boss. Two months later the emails began to pour in for new business.
We Mean Clean has since transitioned into a woman, Minority owned global enterprise with a local mission to create other success stories by providing jobs and housing to people experiencing transition in Big cities throughout the US.
